Donald draws the places people love the way a local sees them — not a postcard cliché, but the exact bridge, streetcar, and rooftop you'd point to and say "that's the spot."

Each edition begins with time in the place and a stack of reference sketches. The final artwork is built line by line, then colour by colour, until a city reads as itself. Nothing is stock, and nothing is traced — the character comes from choosing which details to keep.
